Clontarf have great pleasure in becoming the first rugby club in Ireland to bring our their own iPhone app. The app will provide members with instant access to club news and information from the latest news on the senior team to updates on Youth and Mini Rugby. Fixtures and results for all of Clontarf’s rugby teams will also be accessible via the app.

Other features include the BullsEye which gives members access to a live webcam focused on the First Team pitch at Castle Avenue and a Club Locator which provides members with live GPS mapped directions to all other AIL clubs in Ireland.
President John Glackin commented that “The demand for instant information and constant communication seems to be increasing. The App developed by KrunkSoft for Clontarf Rugby Club will enable us to meet this demand for our ever growing membership who wish to stay up to date with all that is happening and that is planned for the club. We are very privileged to be the first club in Ireland to have such a communications facility made available to us.
“Normally you buy an App for your iPhone but in this case people like me will be buying an iPhone for this App,” continued John.
KrunkSoft and Clontarf’s own Barry O’Mahony said “We were delighted to work with the club on this project. Communicating effectively with members is of the utmost importance to clubs with a large member base and we have provided Clontarf with an innovative new channel to reach their members. The club has continued to develop amid tough conditions over the past two seasons and we hope that the Clontarf FC App will help to continue this development.”
The app is available free to download from iTunes. KrunkSoft is a bespoke mobile software development company based in Dublin. The company works with companies looking to move into new and innovative communication channels.
