The Clontarf 3rd As, or “The Average Joes” as they’ve come to be known as, are a mix of youth and experience.
With an average player age of 34.58 they’re no spring chickens. With un unbeaten run of matches stretching back to last April they’re no push overs either. This season’s league form has seen ‘the Joes’ rack up 245 points and 38 tries in 10 matches with 9 wins and 1 draw while only conceeding 6 tries in the entire campaign. The team are just 4 points away from a historic league win in their section and have just drawn a mouth wattering clash at home to local neighbours Suttonians on March 9th.
Their next 2 home fixtures are to Monkstown and DLSP before the Cup kicks off. Keep an eye on the fixture board for ‘the Joes’ next outing and come along and you’ll see there’s nothing average about this team!
