Leinster Rugby held a fantastic Summer Camp in Clontarf Rugby Club this week (August 20th – 24th 2012) and participants had the chance to meet with local rugby legends Cian Healy and Brian O’Driscoll.
Cian Healy, who has been a life-long member of the club said “It was great to meet the young Clontarf players today; it’s where I first started playing and hopefully some of the guys here can go all the way and play for Ireland someday”.
The Ireland and Leinster stars met with over 160 local players and offered them tips and advice, signed autographs and answered questions on life as a professional rugby player. We are grateful to Cian and Brian for giving up their time to encourage the players.
Clontarf Rugby Club was delighted with the success of the camp which attracted over 160 participants. Clontarf Rugby Club acknowledges the huge effort Leinster Rugby coaches, organisers and adminstrators put in to organise the camp. The minis season will resume on the first Sunday in September.
