Clontarf secured their first AIL trophy in Castle Avenue bringing truth to the Preseident’s encouraging email of 16th April. The miracle did happen!
Match report to follow . . . many thanks to Ballynahinch who turned up and gave Clontarf the sternest of tests. We wholeheartedly wish them the best of luck in the 1A play-off in two weeks time. Acknowledgement also to Garryowen and Old Belvedere – their fantastic game was a testiment to the quality of AIL Rugby. It was televised in the club bar and the tension made a Heineken Cup Final pale into insignificance.
